Derone obtained his Bachelor of laws (LLB) Degree from the University of Kwazulu-Natal Pietermaritzburg Campus in 2018. He then completed his articles at a prominent Law Firm in Pietermaritzburg where he unexpectedly discovered a passion for conveyancing and property law after working in the firm’s agency and local conveyancing departments. Here he was also given the chance to build his relationships with staff and examiners and to learn the day-to-day activities and functioning of at the Deeds Office.

On 20 March 2020, Derone had a double admission as an Attorney and Conveyancer and practiced as a Professional Assistant until the end of 2020. On 24 January 2022, Derone was admitted as a Notary Public.

Derone joined PGPS Attorneys in January 2021 and is an Associate in the Conveyancing department. He will bring immense value to the team.
