Hayley Pillay is a Director at PGPS Attorneys and heads up the firm’s Local Conveyancing Department. She specialises in the administration of deceased estates, estate planning, trusts and conveyancing, and brings extensive experience across both private and public sector matters.

Hayley began her legal career as a conveyancing secretary, working at three well-regarded Pietermaritzburg firms between 2002 and 2005. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Laws degree through the University of South Africa, graduating in 2009, and was admitted as an Attorney and Conveyancer in 2010.

In October 2014, Hayley joined the Fiduciary Department at TMJ Attorneys as a Senior Associate and later became a Director of the firm, a position she held until June 2020. In July 2020, she co-founded PGPS Attorneys together with three other Directors.

Hayley advises property developers, banks, financial services providers, and private clients on a broad range of matters. She has particular expertise in property developments and complex property transactions, offering practical, effective, and carefully considered solutions.
