Thato Mokone is a Director at PGPS Attorneys and heads up the firm’s Estates Department. He has extensive experience in will drafting, the administration of deceased estates, trusts and conveyancing.

Thato obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Philosophy and Psychology, from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg campus in 2008. He went on to complete his LLB degree at the same institution in 2012.

He served his articles at Randles and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court in 2014.
Thato remained with Randles until 2016 before joining Tomlinson Mnguni James in 2017, where he continued to develop his experience in wills, deceased estates, trusts and conveyancing. In 2020, Thato joined the team at PGPS Attorneys and was appointed as a Director of the firm in March 2022. He brings a calm, knowledgeable and client-focused approach to estate and fiduciary matters.
